New Zealand to have a new Cryptocurrency investment platform.
New Zealand-based financial services organization Ilumony has introduced a cryptocurrency portfolio investment platform which claims to design for making the cryptocurrency investment accessible to everyone.
According to Invsta, Ilumony will be taking part in the Lightning Lab accelerator for Fintech, sponsored by Kiwibank. It is also in pre-beta testing and will be live to the general public later this year. Meanwhile, anyone interested can join a waitlist.
Ilumony says its cloud-based investment platform offers a series of crypto-traded portfolios for helping the public efficiently and confidently invest into a diverse range of cryptocurrencies and strategies.
“Through the Invsta platform, customers can easily set up an account and access a range of cryptocurrency portfolios and strategies, including two high-frequency-trading (HFT) algorithm-based portfolios, with more in the pipeline.”
Ilumony cofounder and CTO Abhy Singla said:
“HFTs trade during the day across multiple different cryptocurrencies, based on a large number or pre-defined parameters. They allow people to trade crypto without them having to do the trading themselves.”
Co-founder and CEO Rachel Strevens told Ilumony was continually getting a lot of interest and questions from its traditional investment customers about cryptocurrencies, who wanted to know if it could help them invest.
Rachel Strevens said:
“Globally, we discovered there’s a huge interest to invest in cryptocurrencies, but the majority of people just don’t know how to buy into the market, who to listen to, and what to trust. Although there’s been a lot of hype and speculation around cryptocurrencies recently, we see this as an emerging asset class that will mature and that it becomes more important in coming years.”
